Dear APA Members,
It’s election time! It’s time to think about being on the board and contributing to our efforts as we move forward with a new agenda. It’s time to think about helping APA build a meaningful and effective platform for all its members.
The APA Board of Directors is looking for dedicated individuals that will help to continue the great work that has been done in the past and to bring a new and fresh approach to our organization and its overall mission in the community. Please join with me to help create the production community that you want to see for the year 2015 and into the future.
To be eligible to run, you must be a current APA member in good standing, which means your dues must be paid current. If elected, you must be willing to serve a three-year term, be able to attend board meetings regularly and actively support, attend and participate in one or more committees. (There are currently approximately eight board meetings per year held in a Central Phoenix location. Board Members who live outside of the Valley may attend by phone conference.)
All nominees will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire letting us know your experience in the industry and any ideas/goals you have for the APA. This form is used to prepare the ballot that will be sent out to members.
If you are interested in running for the Board of Directors or would like to nominate another APA member, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org AND Julie Lee at email@example.com
Please feel free to ask me, Julie or our current president, Dani Green, any questions you might have to help you make a decision about running for the board. TIME IS RUNNING OUT! The DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS to be received is October 31, 2014.
Thank you for contributing to the success of your Arizona Production Association!
Michael Ohrling, APA President Elect
