"Beyond Facebook - Using the Internet to Promote Yourself"- Saturday, Sept. 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Join APA on September 24 for an educational workshop to learn how to use the Internet to promote your services professionally, not just post socially! This workshop will expand on the topics presented at the free meet up in June. APA Member Marcelo Dietrich will share tips and tricks for Twitter, Ted Robison presents info on LinkedIn, and members Dani Green and Bella Hibbs will cover social media etiquette.

Marcelo Dietrich is an award-winning filmmaker. He's a writer, producer and director for film (documentary & narrative), TV (episodic & broadcast), Internet (series & entertainment magazine), theater and print. Dietrich is a self-titled "Twitter junky," as he utilizes Twitter as his major source for news and information. His approach to Twitter is "the correct & only way." He currently manages the Twitter account for the Arizona Production Association as well as 5 other entities! He's quite excited to share his philosophy and tips on utilizing Twitter in a more meaningful and useful way. Marcelo is currently in pre-production for Arizona 10 Short Films, as well as a feature length film, both projects being filmed in and around Arizona.

Ted Robison has over 25 years in engineering management in the high tech industry. He has worked at companies like AST Computer, Unisys Corporation, NSA (National Security Agency) and L-3 Communications (DoD). During the Dot Com era he owned a website design and hosting company (TDM Associates). For the last eight years, Mr. Robison has been coaching LinkedIn for "Career Connectors" & "Career Coaching & Counseling" Ministries at Saddleback Church, as well as a series of LinkedIn classes at universities, colleges, companies and recruiting firms. Ted brings a unique style of passion, humor and anecdotal experiences to his presentation of this great online networking tool - LinkedIn.

This workshop will be hosted by APA Member Great Scott!!! Productions at their beautiful facility at 920 E. Madison Street, Suite 170, in downtown Phoenix.
