Presented by APA Members Chris Tinard and Courtis Merry, seasoned professionals with extensive experience behind the camera, this hands-on workshop offers an in-depth look at the essential skills and responsibilities of an Assistant Camera (AC) in film and television production. Participants will gain practical knowledge in camera setup and operation, lens changes, focus pulling, equipment maintenance, and on-set workflow. The instructors will also share industry insights, best practices, and real-world problem-solving techniques acquired through years of professional camera work. Designed for aspiring ACs and those looking to refine their skills, the workshop provides both technical instruction and mentorship to help participants succeed in the fast-paced world of production.
